Good Hummus
• half package dry chick peas • soak overnight (or for 8 hours) • cook half-hour until tender In food processor: • the chick peas • 1t garlic • 1t salt • 2T olive oil • 1/3t cumin • juice of 1 lemon • 3T tahini Puree in a food processor or blender. You will need to gradually add about a cup of water to keep the chick peas mixing and mushing. Mix a lot, like for a minute longer than you think, until smooth. Cool in fridge. Eat. |
